I wouldn't bother with DD-WRT at all personally, unless they've fixed QoS in the recent years. I run Shibby's Tomato on my RT-N66U (used only as a router) and Merlin's on my AdvancedTomato (based on Tomato by Shibby) firmware hasnât been updated in over a year, so I would recomend using FreshTomato (last updated 29 Dec 2019) which is still being updated, and has been running rock solid on my EA6700 for the last few months. If you transfer a file over the network, the end result will be corrupted (MD5 checksum is wrong). I tried this with two different laptops and two different desktops and it consistently occurred with relatively large files (1.5GB file and 4GB file).
